June

  • Your warm season lawn is saying “Hot weather at last!” Bermuda, Zoysia, and Centipedegrass love sun and heat, and this month we are getting plenty of it. We need to give your warm season turf the nutrients it needs to thrive at this time of year, and it is using a lot of nitrogen, so we are giving it another round of granular slow release bio fertilizer with Fe. Please make sure that your lawn is getting 1″ of water per week. Thanks!

  • Granular Humate
  • Ewing Professional 5-0-31 Granular Fertilizer with 10% Fe

December

  • Lime Application
  • December is the perfect time to apply lime, because it takes a few months for the lime to work it’s way into the soil profile. The winter freeze-thaw cycle greatly helps this process.
  • Soil needs lime in order to make the nutrients that we apply to your lawn during the season readily available to the individual turf plants.
